Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)




  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1). MDers tentu sudah tak sabar menyaksikan kisah terakhir petualangan si Penyihir Cilik ini. Ya, JK Rowling memang sudah sejak lama ingin membuat akhir cerita serial Harry Poter, tetapi para penggemar Harry di layar lebar baru dapat melihat aksi pahlawan cilik tersebut mulai November 2010, meski bukunya sudah diterbitkan sejak 2008 lampau.

Pun demikian, akhir cerita Harry ini mungkin berasa "tanggung" karena hanya mengisahkan sebagian besar kisah keseluruhannya. Inilah mengapa judul film menjadi "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1", karena bagian selanjutnya rencananya dapat MDers saksikan pada Februari 2011.

Penguasa Baru Dunia Sihir

Setelah kematian Dumbeldore, kekuatan Voldermort bersama Pelahap Mautnya semakin menguat dari waktu ke waktu. Mereka bahkan berhasil menyusup dan menguasai Kementrian Sihir. Namun bagi "Kau Tahu Siapa", penguasaan itu masih belum cukup. Ia masih terlalu khawatir Harry Potter bergerak terlalu bebas bersama Orde of the Phoenix di luar sana. Bagian dalam Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) ini mungkin cukup persis dengan buku yang MDers baca. 

Dengan menguasai sekolah sihir Hogwarts, Voldermort merasa lebih mudah mencapai misinya membunuh Harry, karena akan memancing remaja laki-laki itu untuk bertarung secara langsung dengannya. Tetapi rencana penyerangan Hogwarts dapat diketahui Harry yang masih terhubung pikirannya dengan Pangeran Kegelapan. Bersama kedua temannya, ia kembali ke Hogwarts untuk memberitahukan penyerangan yang akan dilakukan Voldermort, sekaligus meminta bantuan dari para alumnus termasuk Si Kembar Weasly, beserta anggota Laskar Dumbeldore lain seperti Ginny, Neville, dan Luna.

Pengejaran Horcrux

Sebagai akhir dari dunia anak-anak sekaligus Harry Potter seri terakhir, film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) ini akan membuat MDers cukup gemas. Bagaimana tidak? Film yang berujung dengan kemenangan Harry di akhir cerita, harus dipecah menjadi dua bagian. Seperti yang diuraikan di atas, Part 1 ini nampaknya akan berakhir setelah Harry mengetahui bahwa dirinya sendiri adalah salah satu Horcrux Voldermort.

Buat MDers yang sudah membaca bukunya, film ini mungkin hanya berisi 3/4 buku. Tentu saja Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1), tak ingin membuat penggemar si Penyihir Cilik kehilangan nuansa yang digambarkan JK Rowling dalam bukunya. Setidaknya sutradara bersuara “kalem” David Yates cukup piawai dalam soal ini, karena mampu memilah dan menerjemahkan kisah kompleks Harry menjadi tayangan visual yang apik.

Jadi, jika citra yang pertama adalah perburuan Harry dan teman-teman memusnahkan Horcrux Voldermort dalam kaitannya dengan peperangan antara Pangeran Kegelapan dengan Orde of the Phoenix, maka citra yang kedua adalah akhir seluruh karakter seri Harry Potter yang berakhir bahagia. MDers mungkin bisa memahami kesulitan Hayday Films di balik kesuksesan mereka menyelesaikan Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1). Sinema ini memang merupakan kisah kompleks namun fantastis di layar lebar.

The Best Scene

Jadi buat MDers penggemar Harry Potter, meski Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) hanya akan menuntaskan sebagian petualangan terakhir Harry Potter, tapi sinema ini sangat pantas dinantikan pemutarannya pada 19 November mendatang. Setidaknya MDers dapat melihat seperti apa hasil gelontoran estimasi biaya produksi sebesar 150 juta poundsterling atau lebih dari 1,5 triliyun dari Warner Bross hingga untuk menggarap film ini.

Pun sebagai penggemar sinematografi, MDers pun tak akan kehilangan nuansa kemewahan menonton, karena Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) juga tersedia dalam bentuk 3D. Hmm...seperti apa bergidiknya seorang Pelahap Maut seperti Lucius Malfoy di hadapan Voldermort? Nampaknya, tak lama lagi MDers akan bisa merasakan ketegangan dan ketakutan yang sama di dalam gedung bioskop. Hii....!

The Codex Leicester is the most expensive book ever sold. It was bought by Bill Gates at auction in 1994 for stunning≈ € 23.22 million ≈ £20,64 million$30,80 million.

Written between 1506 and 1510, The Codex Leicester provides an inside into the inquiring mind of the great Renaissance artist, scientist, and thinker, Leonardo da Vinci.

The codex is named after Thomas Coke, later the first Earl of Leicester, who purchased it in 1717.
Physically, the Codex takes the form of 18 sheets of paper, each folded in half and written on both sides, forming the complete 72-page document. It was handwritten in Italian by Leonardo, using his characteristic mirror writing, and supported by copious drawings and diagrams.

From June to August 2007, the codex was the centerpiece of a two month exhibition hosted by the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin, Ireland.

The Codex is put on public display once a year in a different city around the world. In 2004 it was exhibited in the Château de Chambord, and in 2005 in Tokyo. One page was exhibited at the Seattle Museum of Flight’s 2006 exhibit “Leonardo da Vinci: Man, Inventor, Genius.”

Based on their namesake footwear from The Wizard of Oz, these extravagant slippers were designed for the 2003 Oscars. Unfortunately, they were never worn due to the solemn mood of the times. They are studded with 642 Burma rubies weighing in at 123.33 carats. The settings are made of half a pound of platinum. These shoes were made with the help of Oscar Heyman Bros.

Stuart Weitzman’s Cinderella Slippers
$2 million

Worn by singer Alison Krauss at the 2004 Academy Awards, these shoes were Weitzman’s next pair of fantasy-themed slippers. They are studded with 565 Kwiat diamonds—55 carats of clear diamonds and a single 5-carat gem. Unfortunately, they’re probably not made of glass. They are currently on display in Beverly Hills, California.

Additionally, there are 28 carats of diamonds along the front straps.

While the original ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland were made with sequins, these spectacular slippers designed by Ronald Winston of the House of Harry Winston to mark the classic movie’s fiftieth anniversary used real rubies. The slippers include 4,600 rubies totaling 1,350 carats (as well as 50 carats of diamonds) which took craftsman Javiar Barerra two months to set. Made in 1989, the world’s most expensive shoes were still on sale in 2000.
